What Kind of Car Audio System Is Right for You?

Car audio systems are as diverse and unique as the drivers who install them in their vehicles.

If you’re thinking about adding an aftermarket car audio system to your vehicle, you may have no idea where to start. You’ve heard the names of some of the major car stereo component manufacturers – like Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood and Rockford Fosgate – but you may not understand how it all comes together to create the perfect sound for you.

To create the perfect car stereo system for you, start by thinking about your personality and your likes and dislikes.

Car Audio Systems for the Audiophile

Are you obsessive about your music? Do you haunt flea markets and estate sales on the weekends, looking for vintage Scandinavian stereo components? Do you have a tattoo of the Maxell “Blown Away” guy? If so, you’re going to want a sound system that starts with premium quality speakers, amps and subwoofers.

If you believe you can’t get high-fidelity sound in your car or truck, you haven’t seen today’s technology. The Pro Audio team knows how to help you design a system that will make you believe you’re right there in the studio with your favorite musicians.

Car Stereo Systems for the Tech Geek

Is tech more your thing? Technophiles know all the secrets for getting great music wherever they may be. And, today, there’s no reason why you can’t seamlessly integrate all your devices with your vehicle’s sound system.

You’ll inevitably want to base your system around a digital media receiver. You can pick what types of interface you want, including USB and Bluetooth. You’ll want a receiver that can stream your music apps in HD along with satellite tuner. You can also choose to incorporate a dock for your smartphone as well as touch and voice controls for maximum flexibility.

At Pro Audio, we’re tech geeks ourselves. We have all the latest high-tech car audio equipment that you need to design the system of the future.

Car Audio for the Soccer Parent

Moms and dads are constantly on the go, taking the kids to practice and playdates while handling the family’s errands like a boss. Although you may enjoy listening to some tunes when you’re in the car alone, you probably also count on your vehicle’s stereo system for your news and for entertaining the kids and their friends.

You need a reliable, all-purpose system with video integration in the headrests or via dropdown monitors, so the kids can watch movies. You can even choose video monitors that play DVDs and USB inputs for connecting their devices. You’ll need Bluetooth headphones too, so you don’t get overwhelmed with background noise.

The mobile sound experts at Pro Audio Pro 4×4 understand the importance of personalizing your sound system, to give you exactly what you want to hear (and see) in your vehicle. Our installation experts can do fully custom installations, so your system looks as good as it sounds. Stop in today and let us design the perfect car audio system for you.

Spray-In Bedliners Do More Than Just Protect Your Truck

Have you considered a spray-in bedliner for your truck? If not, we have lots of reasons you should.

You probably already know how well a liner can protect the bed of your beloved truck. But did you know these state-of-the-art protective coatings offer more than just a way to avoid paint scratches, dents and dings?

How Do Spray-In Bedliners Work?

To apply this type of liner, an experienced technician will carefully clean and dry the surfaces to be covered, then apply a high-tech polyurethane protective coating using a pressurized sprayer system.

The result is a material that is as tough as it is flexible. The spray cures quickly (within minutes), adhering to the underlying surface. Once the liner is fully cured, it will be ready to stand up to whatever wear and tear you can give it.

Spray-In vs. Drop-In Bedliners

Drop-in bedliners are prefabricated, typically using a plastic composite material. Installation involves little more than simply dropping the shell into place. You can remove them, but by virtue of this design, water and dirt can easily penetrate the gap between the shell and the truck bed, resulting in paint scratches and even rust.

Weather conditions and frequent use can cause drop-in shells to become warped or damaged relatively quickly. Finally, because of their design, these liners typically cannot protect your tailgate or top rails.

Unlike preformed, drop-in bedliners, spray-in materials form precisely to the surface on which they are applied. Nothing can get between the liner and your bed’s finish. Extremely durable, spray liners tend to last longer and stand up to years of harsh weather conditions and daily use.

The Bullet Liner Spray-In Bedliner

Bullet Liner is state-of-the-art technology for protecting the bed of your pickup, preventing damage, reducing noise and providing a nonslip, textured surface that protects you and your cargo.

With its advanced technology, the material won’t fade or deteriorate, no matter how you use and abuse your truck. And in addition to your truck’s bed, side rails and tailgate, you can add Bullet Liner to your wheel wells, frame, grilles, fender flairs, bumpers and even your tonneau cover. You could cover your entire vehicle with it, if you are so inclined.

If your truck is new, adding a Bullet Liner is the perfect way to preserve the value of your vehicle. If you’ve already done a little damage to your truck’s finish, a liner will make it look as good as new. With a lifetime guarantee, you’ll appreciate its benefits for as long as you own your vehicle.
